Happy Birthday Jessie Girl

Published by

My Jessie girl turned three today.  It seems like just yesterday my bald little baby girl was crawling around on the floor underfoot.  Jessie has such a strong personality.  She is strong willed, but can be oh so sweet.  She very much wants to help and please.  The other day she helped Grandma do some cooking.  Later she went shopping just her and Grandma.  I told her she needed to be a good girl and obey Grandma.  She says “I won’t hit Grandma, I pwomise.”  Well you better not hit Grandma, but I need to you do what Grandma says and obey her ok “I won’t hit Grandma, I pwomise”.  She had a great time shopping and she held up her promise.

First Birthday
We had celebrated her birthday last night with Grandma, Grandpa, the cousins, and Aunts and Uncles.  She had a big time.  Because of moving this weekend I went with the store bought cake.  She got to pick it out.
3rd Birthday
This Jessica always makes me think of this poem.
There Was a Little Girl
By Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
There was a little girl,
Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
When she was good,
She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.
