Life is a journey, not a destination ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

When I grow up I want to be…

I was sitting on the floor talking to my kids today and asked them what they were going to be when they were adults.  I thought I better write it down so that I can remember and tell them when they are older.

Jayden – Is going to live with Mark and I forever and he is going to work on wheelchairs and paint houses.  He wants to be just like his Daddy.

Ally – is going to get married and have babies (and name them baby Jessica), and she is going to ride in a pink princess airplane.

Timmy – is going to drive a monster truck and airplanes and trains.

It’s so much fun to dream as kids and think of what we are going to be when we grow up.  As adults we let life stress us out and get in the way of dreaming.  My husband is a dreamer and I’m a realist.  I am so thankful that he still makes me dream and not let the little stresses and things in life get in the way of living life and having dreams.
