The End of a Year

December is  always a busy month.  Jayden’s birthday, Christmas, New Year.  This year we added in a heart ablation for Jayden, He did Great!  Sometimes it’s hard to slow down and enjoy this time of year.  This year I really tried though.  To me at least it seemed much more enjoyable, the kids and I didn’t do a whole lot of school work, just the basics, and read books on what the true meaning of Christmas is.  Jesus Christ came to earth as a baby, to become our Savior.

We enjoyed our time with family this month.  The kids even got some snow this year.

Teagan really Liked the Ice Cream, much better than the snow itself.

We had some good friends over for games on New Years Eve.  And let the kids stay up till Midnight.  Ally was so excited.

Jessica tried to make it till midnight, lost the fight at about 11:30.

And you can’t end the year without a good Timmy story.  He was lurking in the kitchen and we knew he was up to something.  Jayden and Ally had both come and asked for dessert and gotten it, Timmy didn’t ask, but was holding a plate with a scotcheroo.  I said Tim you didn’t ask for anything. Well I was getting this for someone else.  Oh Really?  Who?  Ummm and sticking it out towards me  YOU!  Oh Thank You!  He had a look on his face as if he didn’t know what to do next, I said do you need something?  Well I’m still hungry.  Oh really, what would you like?  Can I have a treat?  Would you like this scotcheroo?  Yes Please, with a big smile on his face.
